How to set my domain name...
To some individuals and businesses, your website is the address your customer need to arrive on your digital doorstep.
If you don't renew your domain name and it expires, you will face downtime or sometimes lose your domain entirely.
For this reason, many customers like to keep their domain names on auto-renewal, so the domain never expires.
This tutorial shows you how to set your Dynu domain to renew automatically.
Open a Web browser and type http://www.dynu.com/ControlPanel in the address bar then press the enter key. Use your username/email address and password to log into the control panel.
After logging into the control panel, go to Domain Registration section and click on the domain name for which you want to enable auto-renewal and switch the Auto-renewal button on.
If you have multiple domains in your account and do not want to control this setting manually, you may also use the API
Our system will automatically renew the domain names 30 days prior to its expiration provided that:
The system will attempt the auto-renewal approximately 30 days prior to the domain's expiration date on a weekly basis. The auto-renewal process will first try to use the credit in the account and if there is not enough credit, it will attempt to charge the credit cards in the account. If the payment is successful, it will renew the domain name and send you a renewal success email. If the charge does not work, the domain will not be renewed and you will receive a failure notice. The auto-renewal process will run again in 7 days until the domain expires.
NOTE:
STEP 1: Log into the control panel

STEP 2: Find your domain settings
After logging into the control panel, go to Domain Registration section and click on the domain name for which you want to enable auto-renewal and switch the Auto-renewal button on.
If you have multiple domains in your account and do not want to control this setting manually, you may also use the API
/domain/{id}/autorenewEnable method to enable
auto-renewal in bulk.
STEP 3: Payment
Our system will automatically renew the domain names 30 days prior to its expiration provided that:
- The Auto-renewal option in STEP 2 is switched on
- There is an up-to-date debit/credit card in your account or the account has credit
The system will attempt the auto-renewal approximately 30 days prior to the domain's expiration date on a weekly basis. The auto-renewal process will first try to use the credit in the account and if there is not enough credit, it will attempt to charge the credit cards in the account. If the payment is successful, it will renew the domain name and send you a renewal success email. If the charge does not work, the domain will not be renewed and you will receive a failure notice. The auto-renewal process will run again in 7 days until the domain expires.
NOTE:
- Auto-renewal CANNOT be processed via PayPal.
