Topic: IP address changed twice within 2 hours?
Hello,
I had trouble in receiving email.
So i checked my email server, but could not find anything wrong there.
Then I checked the connection settings of my (synology) nas, and noticed that the external IP address was giving an authentication failure.
So I checked (approx. 2 hours ago) my DDNS settings with Dynu and noticed that the external IP address had changed. So I updated manually the settings on my nas. I got a green light.
But now, 2 hours later: again an authentication failure. Checked again, and saw that the external IP address had changed again.
Question: is it normal that the external IP address changes twice in such a short period?
Question: should this change not be pushed automatically to my systems as well?

update: the external IP address has once again changed...
Third time today
Current address @Dynu: 84.194.144.7
Address on my Syno-NAS: 212.88.254.63 (previous Dynu DDNS value)
see attached screenshots from both systems

One more screenshot, showing how the IP address started changing 11hr ago and has now already changed 4 times this day...

I recently (yesterday) added the following Chrome extension: Dynu Dynamic DNS Client
Question: Could this be the cause of the recent changes of IP address?
(I removed it again to test this assumption)
