Argomento: IP Address not auto updating via Technicolor gateway
I have sent this message previously. I have configured my Technicolor router according to the tutorial, everything was working fine for a couple of months until a week ago, when it seems for some reason the changing of IP addresses caused by my ISP were not being updated in my Dynu DDNS domain. Therefore not being passed to my DNS provider. In fact when I realized and started to force the update manually the DDNS in my router would flip the IP address back to the out of date IP address on the next DDNS sync cycle - extremely frustrating!I have re installed the DDNS in the Technicolor, plus rebooted the router, still the same problem.I have now had to disable the DDNS function in my Technicolor router and use the IP Update Client software and run it from my PC and obviously keep my PC switched on permanently. Advice please.
