Hi, I can't get the IP address to update via my tomato router - I have tried both http and https syntaxes and both one domain and all domain update but all attempts result in a badauth response from the server and no update. I've tried both my global username/password combo and an IP Update only password, same results.

Installing the client update software on my windows box updates the IP just fine.

The most recent syntax I used was:

http://api.dynu.com/nic/update?hostname=hutchnas.dynu.net&password=####################

where the p/w (which I have hashed) is the IP Update specific one.

my passwords are generated as random strings by 1Password and so contain several non alphanumeric characters if that is of any relevance?

Can you help please?

Judging from the URL, maybe it's a good idea to avoid using &,=,? in the password?
