Calendar with Thunderbird

Mozilla Thunderbird is a free and open-source email client that also functions as a personal information manager with a calendar and contactbook. It provides an easy-to-use interface to manage calendars and contacts. We use the test@dynu.biz email account as an example in this tutorial.

After launching the Thunderbird email client and adding your email account, click on the calendar icon on the top left side of the client interface, then click on the New Calendar button.

The calendar is hosted on Dynu's CalDAV server on the internet so choose On the Network and Next.

You will be prompted a window asking for the password. This would be the email account password. If you do not see this windows, look behind currently opened windows as it may be hidden.
