if you do support this via DNS challenge, then what is the name of the plugin that should be specified with certbot? Right now it seems you only support the HTTPS challenge via a CAA entry referring to letsencrypt.org...

thats not a dynu question that is a certbot question. dynu provides the api, certbot has not implemented it. There is a plugin for windows powershell ACME module.
