Dynamic DNS service maps a static hostname to a constantly changing IP address. So you do not need dynamic DNS service if you have an IP address that does not change.

You can directly use your IP address to do remote viewing since it remains unchanged. Ifdo not want to remember the complicated IP address, you can also assign it to an easy toremember hostname which can be used to connect to your remote camera. You may sign up fora free hostname at http://www.dynu.com/ControlPanel/AddDDNS

Yes, that is correct. You can run a client software or set up dynamic DNS in the router ifsupported. For more information, you may refer tohttps://www.dynu.com/DynamicDNS/IPUpdateClient
