With many SOHO users adopting the in-house cloud using NAS devices & the apps that can be run on these units it would be great to have this always-on equipment able to keep Dynamic Domains up to date.
Also it would be good if you could get Asus to include Dynu as another preset in the DDNS functions on their Routers.
I have moved all my facilities over to Dynu & it would be good to see them included in more of the Mainstream Provider lists???

Same here, I've just moved to dynu from another provider but would be nice if my QNap external IP could be automatically updated from either the router or QNap itself.

I was able to set up Dynu's free dynamic DNS service on my QNAP NAS. They have a tutorial page for QNAP free dynamic DNS.

I had to portforward por 8080 to the NAS in order for it to work.

That is good to know,

Apologies but port forward from where to where? From the (my) router to the NAS?

regards

and apologies for being a little dense.
