They both store and forward, but forward will delete the emails on dynu servers once delivered?

They both state that they can forward to another port on the main page. I'm confused.

Yes that is correct. Its a temporary 'Backup' until consumed by your SMTP server. You can find you emails in the Email Delivery Queue on the Dynu portal until your SMTP Server signals the deletion order.

If you look at the Manage Email Service on the Dynu portal you will see an entry for ETRN Port. It accepts any port number. You will also need to add the Connection Security you wish to use.

They are the same. If you list Dynu MX records as primary MX records, it is email store/forward. If you list Dynu MX records as backup MX records and your own as primary, it is backup service.
