I am using Dynu IP Update Client for Linux. How do I make it to start the service on startup?

Ubuntu is based of Debian, so that is where you find your solution.

update-rc.d [service] disable|enable

manpage: https://manpages.debian.org/testing/init-system-helpers/update-rc.d.8.en.html

The above is not the best answer. For the best answer this post: https://www.dynu.com/DynamicDNS/IPUpdateClient/Linux
