Hello,

I have a question on how to update IP address on a round robin DDNS A records.

Say I have fool.dynu.net with 2 A records. And I have 2 hosts, each updates one of A records. Shall each host just update fool.dynu.net seperately with its own IP and DYNU could update the correct A record automatically? Or each host should have its own prefix: host1.fool.dynu.net and host2.fool.dynu.net and update its own domain name? In this case how fool.dynu.net woll funtion in round robin way?

Thanks,
Ray

There is a location field in the control panel when you set up A records for fool.dynu.net. You can assign record 1 to a location name such as location1 and record 2 location2. When you use the IP update client, you can apply the location name in the 'Settings' tab. This way one client will update record 1 and the other will update record 2. There is no need to set up prefixes.

I see Dynu IP Update clinet supports RH RPM, Debian/Ubuntu, but not OpenWRT/LEDE.
Do you have executable for OpenWRT/LEDE? Is the Perl version support IP update by location?

Thanks,
Ray
