Hi,

Everything is working fine with my ddns when VPN is not active. My NASTS877.robbswebsite.com works ok until I enable my Express VPN through my DDWRT router. I can not get it to work, please advise.

Rob, You should change the default 'admin' password on your QNAP NAS immediately, it is open to the world at the moment??????????????

Thanks, I just disabled the admin account which is what I normally do but I have a new QNAP NAS and am in the middle of upgrading the hardware and forgot to do it when I reloaded the software, thanks again, appreciate it. One thing though is when I wanted to just change the admin password it did not come up as an option.

Thanks again Pellonet, I have just enabled my VPN so lets see if it's working? The only thing I can do at the moment is to disable the Wifi on my cell to test it that way.

Have you tried setting static DNS servers in your DD-WRT router? That's what has worked for me. It appears that ExpressVPN's default DNS servers don't work with DDNS well.
