Hi,

Yesterday I was able to connect from Filemaker Go on an iPad to access Filemaker files on my macbook using your free domain name service.

I since purchased a domain name and now Filemaker Go searches but doesn't find any files. I don't know what's changed other then purchasing a domain name and trying to use that?

On a separate note I would like to host files on hostinger.co.uk to access through my domain name here. Do I just add their details to the name server section here? I've done this but I get a message on my control panel at hostinger saying that my domain name isn't pointing to their servers. I understand this could take a while to update, but what's the usual timeframe?

We noticed that you have listed name servers other than Dynu name servers, which is causing the dynamic DNS service not to work.

Name server changes may take up to 48 hours to fully propagate over the internet. You may check with your hosting provider if they require that only their name servers should be listed. If this is the case, you need to unlist Dynu name servers.

One solution is that you host files with your hosting provider and list their name servers and use a free Dynu hostname to make use of the free dynamic DNS service.
