Post web redirect port forward

Hi. I am using the port forward section of the dynamic dns. When I ping my hostname as it is in the box, it resolves to an address that is not mine, even though the proper address and port number are listed in the destination box.

I would like to know why that is happening. I would have assumed for this to work properly, it should resolve back to the proper destination address.

I would appreciate any feedback and suggestions on what I should be doing to get this to resolve properly.

Thank you,

If you have port forwarding enabled, the hostname will point to our port forwarding server IP address, which will redirect users to the hostname to dynamic IP of the hostname on the port that you designate. This is the normal process.
