Hi, I am having an issue with port forwarding for RDP.

If I use a standard DNS and add the port in i.e. mydomain.dynu.com:3389 the logon screen appears and I have no issue with logging in.

however if I setup the domain with port forwarding already add to 3389 so all i need to add use is mydomain.dynu.com the logon screen still appears however the RDP rejects my credentials.

Was wondering if there is something I am missing or that needs to be setup?

Thanks

Mitch

Web redirect only redirects traffic coming to port 80 on your hostname to an alternative port of your choice. It is used for users whose ISP blocks port 80 to host their website on an alternative port while allowing customers to access their website without putting the port.

Wehn web redirect is enabled, the hostname will be pointing to our web redirect server. So it will not work for you in your case.
