I have a domain registered through Dynu, and set up a custom DDNS within my Synology NAS, but it repeatedly fails. The queryurl provided on your site for Synology was used, and I am prompted for hostname, username and password, but the request comes back failed.

I am new to DDNS, have I missed a step or forgotten something?

thx, Dave

You should put only the following in the 'Query URL' field:

http://api.dynu.com/nic/update?hostname=__HOSTNAME__&username=__USERNAME__&myip=__MYIP__&password=__PASSWORD__

I have tried this several ways and it fails every time. Anyone have an idea where I am making a mistake. Thanks in advance

I'm also curious about the configuration of the Synology DDNS with DYNU.
So far:
1. I've created a custom Dynu DNS entry: mysynology.freeddns.org
2. I've added a Dynu as the DDNS provider
3. I've added a DDNS entry with DynuDDNS as the provider and the connection was tested successfully.

However, when I try to connect to my custom DNS entry via a browser, I'm getting a 404 page.
Did I miss something in my configuration?
