Then I tried to connect to test12.dynu.com using Remote Desktop at work. But it could not connect.ericvico wrote:What did you do exactly? It is difficult to help you without any details.

I went in the router and set a port forwarding rule to forward traffic coming to port 3389 to port 3389 of the internal IP address of my home server. but still I was not able to connect. PS: I also opened Windows firewall to allow remote desktop. What else could be the issue?ericvico wrote:You did not set up port forwarding for port 3389 in your router? Is your port 3389 open? ericvico wrote:Well the only thing left is maybe you are running some anti-virus software or something that's still blocking the port. You might want to turn it off or at least open the port in the firewall.auberCy wrote:Thanks for the hint.
